CAREGIVER SCREENING & SELECTION PROCESS:
One of the most critical aspects of providing high quality in home care is the staff that administers that care. We believe that Piedmont Companion Care is uniquely qualified in the process of interviewing, screening and selecting just who becomes a Piedmont Companion Caregiver. All of our caregivers are interviewed multiple times prior to being processed for formal background checks. We conduct business and personal reference checks to verify the accuracy of the information they have provided us as well as ascertain personality attributes, work ethic, trustworthiness and attention to detail among other things.
RN SUPERVISED CAREGIVERS FOLLOWING ESTABLISHED CARE PLANS:
Our RN supervisors have hands on experience with in home care including Home Health Care and Nursing Home Care. We provide a high level of non medical service that includes having RN's meet with the client to establish a care plan and then supervises our caregivers to ensure that the plan is both complied with and that the plan remains updated with any changes in the needs of our clients as time passes. We have routine follow up with our clients and caregivers at scheduled intervals providing verification that our quality standards of care are being met.
OUR CAREGIVERS- BEST IN CLASS:
We hire only the best, they have to go through a rigorous interview and background screening process process. And we provide them required training at hiring and ongoing to ensure they continue to be the best.
Furthermore, our caregivers are trained to be our "eyes and ears" to our clients on a daily basis. Any changes in our client's health or situation will be communicated to our nursing supervisors and administrative staff. Our caregivers also fill out daily reports which are reviewed weekly as well. We maintain constant communication with our caregivers so that we can adjust our care plan appropriately and/or advise our client of the need for resources beyond what we can provide.
WE'RE AVAILABLE WHEN YOU NEED US TO BE: 24/7 & 365 DAYS PER YEAR
Piedmont Companion Care has in place an ON CALL program which allows our clients and caregivers to reach appropriate administrative staff or nursing personnel at any time day or evening, weekday or weekend including all holidays. BACKGROUND SCREENING OF EMPLOYEES:
Choosing trustworthy, dependable caregivers and nursing staff is paramount to our business and the high quality standards we embrace at Piedmont Companion Care. We know it takes more than instinct and "gut feelings" to hire the right caregivers for our clients loved ones. All of our caregivers and nursing support staff complete thorough background investigation including CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECKS, MOTOR VEHICLE REPORTS AND SOCIAL SECURITY TRACE/ID SEARCH. We are committed to providing the highest standard of care with trustworthy and compassionate caregivers.
TELEPHONY TRACKING OF CAREGIVERS:
Our integrated software tracking program is an "electronic" time card. This is an automated job log-in service which allows us to verify caregivers are at the location they are scheduled to be at and the time in which they arrive and leave the client. When arriving at a job site, our caregivers place a toll-free login call into our software and do the same when they depart. This information is collected and available to our administrators in real time. Our software generates email reports which detail dates, times, locations and calculated work hours for each individual caregiver and client. This tracking system is another quality assurance check which allows us to know IMMEDIATELY if our caregiver is late or fails to show up for the scheduled service. Our staff is then well positioned to take appropriate measures to correct the situation. With the added knowledge that we are able to track arrival and departure times in real time, our caregivers are held to a high standard of punctuality and our clients are assured they will be getting the service they are paying for.
ROSEMARK SCHEDULING SOFTWARE:
We are fully computerized with all of our processes and have an established database of pre-qualified and pre-screened caregivers which allows us to react quickly and confidently when asked to provide service immediately for a new client or to secure a replacement caregiver when one is unable to meet their scheduled hours of service. Our scheduling software allows us to link with our caregivers via telephony for electronic time card record keeping as well as linking with our accounting software for accurate and efficient invoicing of clients.
